Membership
A membership is $100 per year. Benefits include regular meetings with guest speakers on topics of local and statewide interest as well as on current issues, round table discussions of challenges our businesses are facing, gatherings at local businesses to increase our awareness of other products and services being offered so we can raise awareness in our community and with visitors from away. SBPA’s participation in the recently formed Finance Committee of the Shelburne Selectboard gives us a direct voice for business in the economic planning processes of the town.

Stretching along the shore of Lake Champlain, with spectacular views of the Adirondacks to the west and Vermont’s Green Mountains to the east, Shelburne, Vermont has a long history, a bright future and many features that make it attractive as a place to make a new home, establish a business, or come for a visit. Since it was founded in 1996, the Shelburne Business and Professional Association (SBPA) has been committed to supporting our community and businesses by welcoming tourists; encouraging potential businesses; building mutually beneficial networks for the existing professional, commercial and service businesses in the town; and putting our combined energy and expertise to work for the benefit of the community.
SBPA is building partnerships with local and state tourism organizations and developing promotional campaigns to raise awareness among visitors to the state, telling the world that Shelburne has much to offer to residents and businesses: great access to transportation, a tradition of healthy living, excellent educational resources, a dynamic economy that includes Burlington and Chittenden County, and the quality of life that the rest of the world recognizes and admires.
